The Welder II is responsible for the fabrication of aluminum, steel, and stainless steel sub-components which are supplied to the assembly, shipping and distribution departments. The welder works from engineering blueprints, production orders, work instructions and inspection plans and is responsible for first piece and in-process inspection of product that leaves their work station. Individuals in this position must be skilled in both welding as well as other fabrication disciplines, as well as the maintenance of the machines in those disciplines.
