Overview

The R&D team has a responsibility to identify opportunities within the business that present DIFFICULT technical challenges. Team members quickly drive to refine a technology, design a product and/or system enough to provide confidence that the company can provide an enhanced user experience.

Responsibilities

  • evaluating new technologies
  • collaborating with customers and subject matter experts with a focus on the user experience
  • establishing preliminary product/system requirements
  • organizing and documenting ideation activities
  • leading design, build, and test of concepts
  • plan and execute customer pilots and demonstrations
  • collaborate with product management to create the product vision

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Automation background
  • 5+ years in new product development
  • Strong user of CAD, Microsoft suite, project management software
  • Ability to elicit cooperation across departments, from senior management, and external suppliers
  • Experience with technical writing and presenting to upper management
  • Experience in fluid delivery or fluid power technologies is highly desired
  • Work in a fast-paced, small team environment under minimal supervision while meeting schedule and cost commitments

Compensation:

The pay range for this role is USD 109,890.00/Yr. – 148,500.00/Yr. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training and experience.
