The Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer – Infrastructure, Automation & Security is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing technology solutions that drive efficiency, automation, and security across corporate and production systems. This role partners with business, IT, Helpdesk, Development and security teams to architect scalable, reliable, and compliant solutions, with a strong focus on automating user lifecycle processes and improving organizational workflows.

 

This is an on-site position at our corporate headquarters in Tamarac, FL.

Responsibilities

· Solution Architecture & Innovation

· Architect and implement end-to-end solutions across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments, leveraging best practices for scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.

· Lead the design and implementation of automation initiatives for onboarding, offboarding, and other business processes, integrating with HR, IT, and security systems.

· Evaluate, recommend and implement emerging technologies, automation platforms (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath, RPA), and integration tools to enhance business operations.

· Develop architecture blueprints, documentation, and implement process flows for new solutions.

 

· Automation & Efficiency

· Implement workflow automation to streamline corporate services and production systems.

· Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies, reducing manual effort, cost and errors.

· Oversee the development, deployment, and monitoring of automation tools, systems and scripts (PowerShell, Python, etc.).

 

· Security & Compliance

· Collaborate with security and compliance teams to enhance system security, identity management, and regulatory compliance (e.g., SOC2, GDPR).

· Implement robust security measures, access controls, and monitoring solutions.

· Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise standards, IT principles, and compliance requirements.

 

· Collaboration & Leadership

· Work cross-functionally with business, IT, Technology Operations and security stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

· Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members.

· Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

 

· Other Responsibilities

· Stay current with industry trends, automation technologies, and security best practices.

· Support change management and adoption of new technologies and processes.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Formal Training:


· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.


Experience:


· 7+ years’ experience in solution architecture, automation, or related roles.

· Proven experience architecting and implementing solutions across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.

· Strong background in automation (PowerShell, Python, RPA platforms, workflow automation).

· Hands-on experience with user lifecycle automation (onboarding/offboarding), HR/IT integrations, and process improvement.

· Deep understanding of security, compliance, and identity management principles.

· Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

· Relevant certifications (cloud, security, automation) are a plus (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP, UiPath, Power Platform).

· Experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and DevOps practices preferred.
