The Logistics Coordinator facilitates communication between planning, production, and sales to assure that customer requested ship dates are met.
· Provides clerical support for inbound and outbound logistical operations.
· Monitors SharePoint to ensure that the shipping schedule matches customer requirements.
· Ensures that all trucks leave on time.
· Archives photographs and video footage of trucks in public folder by order number for future reference.
· Fills out back order forms and sends to sales, production, and VP Supply Chain.
· Records all issues found at shipping while processing an order and gives list to VP Supply Chain.
· Arranges for carrier pick-ups as needed to meet customer delivery requirements.
· Quotes truckload freight for each order.
· Executes timely post-goods-issue (PGI) transactions for all outgoing shipments.
· Creates delivery documents for outgoing truckloads per departmental processes.
· Makes special shipping arrangements as needed.
· Coordinates shipping schedule along with paperwork and SAP tasks related to LTL and full truckload shipments.
· Creates bill of lading, driver instruction packets, and packing lists for outgoing shipments.
· Coordinates with trucking companies to move trailers into the correct locations at the right times.
· Other duties as needed.
Working Conditions: This position requires accessing all areas in the plant
Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand or sit and move about the facility.
Education and Formal Training:
· High School Degree required
Experience:
· 2+ years Warehouse/Shipping Experience.
· Experience with 'Lean' material management and SAP software preferred.

· Office Equipment, Database & Query Software, ERP Software, Procurement Software - SAP system.
