The Mechanical Engineer II is responsible for the design and planning of new and existing products by performing engineering duties as well as developing, designing and testing mechanical devices.

Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Additional hours as needed.

· Designs, develops, and tests all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
· Responsible for planning, input, review, output, validation of, and changes of the design for assigned tasks.
· Maintain electronic job files as applicable to assigned tasks.
· Technical mechanical resource to Sales, Service and Production.
· Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.
· Involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products.
· Cross-trains designated back-ups.
· Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions: Majority will be an inside office environment.
Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand or sit, and move about the facility.
Education and Formal Training:
· Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
· 3-5 years of experience required
· 1-2 years of experience in FEM analysis
· Must be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office
· Solidworks experience required
· ERP system required (SAP preferred)

The pay range for this role is USD $84,315.00/yr - $113,883.00/yr. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
