The Facility Maintenance Manager will manage all activities related to Facilities & Maintenance Management in the plant. Will directly work and coordinate with site staff on the execution of contracts for facility improvements, changes, and additions. Supervises all outside contractors in support of the Facilities Department, including maintaining records, coordinating project activities, and ensuring service requests are handled in a timely manner. Performs routine interior and exterior inspections of facilities and grounds to ensure cleanliness, appearance, and environmental compliance meet corporate standards Must possess the ability to implement creative solutions and oversee multiple projects and initiatives at the same time with minimal supervision and clear communication. Oversee all aspects of machinery, equipment, and maintenance to ensure that all are operating safely, efficiently, and maximizing productivity.

Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, additional hours as needed.
· Responsible for developing project scope, requirements, justifications, and project timelines for facilities
· upgrades, as well as managing the projects through completion.
· Responsible for all facility service requests
· Maintains up-to-date equipment and maintenance lists in Plant Maintenance system
· Manages general maintenance support, including moving furniture, assistance with office and cubicle
· relocation, hanging bulletin boards, repairing potential safety hazards, including trip hazards, door swing
· changes, ergonomic repairs, etc.
· Handles building-equipment emergencies on an ongoing basis
· Oversees, plans, and coordinates activities of custodial, maintenance, and other personnel.
· Coordinate, approve and monitor vendor’s performance through performing building related services.
· Responsible for inspections and delegating inspections of entire buildings to identify general corrective maintenance as necessary for proper maintenance and operation of various equipment, fixtures, etc.
· Report deficiencies and proposed improvements to management.
· Oversees maintenance schedules of mechanical systems such as HVAC systems, fans, generators, electrical systems, plumbing, life safety systems, annual fire inspections/fire extinguisher maintenance, and pest services.
· Responsible for periodic inspection of building and grounds to identify issues so they may be corrected.
· Manages routine and preventative maintenance based on production requirements to minimize production disruptions, equipment failure, downtime, and corrects any unsafe conditions.
· Responsible for ensuring that team members perform maintenance in strict adherence to lock out/tag out procedures and all safety policies and procedures, including the PPE policy.
· Works with management on contracts for outside services for shop equipment maintenance, security, landscape, janitorial, HVAC maintenance, waste removal, building security, and facility upgrades as required.
· Manages the completion of all necessary facilities upgrades or projects to maintain OSHA compliance of through coordination with site Safety personnel and/or Director of EHS
· Will be the primary contact for after hours and alarm calls.
· Oversee and coordinate strategic facility upgrades, moves, and racking adjustments
· Lead, train, and develop team all while fostering and building a culture of respect and continuous improvement.
· Ability to interact with City of Tamarac Building & Fire Inspectors to ensure successful completion of projects. Coordinates with all city, county, state, and federal agencies with regard to all life, fire, safety, health, and permitting activities.

· Technical Skills - Knowledge of environmental Health & Safety requirements. An understanding of the mechanical and electrical systems in place within the facility.

WORKING CONDITIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Working Conditions: Entire facility: office environment and manufacturing environment.
Physical Demands:
· Must be able to work in non-climate controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air.
· Will require heavy work (lifting greater than 30 pounds). Ability to carry 50 lbs. for 100 feet unassisted.
· Requires the use of safety PPE equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, steel-toe shoes, and hardhats.
· Regularly required to stand or sit, and move about the facility.
Education & Experience:
· 5+ years of Facilities & Maintenance Management in a plant
· Knowledge of HVAC, Electric, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic systems
· Strong knowledge of CNC, Lathes, and Mills
· Project Management experience
· Knowledge of safety protocols
