The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment, facility systems, and infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role supports both preventive and corrective maintenance efforts and contributes to minimizing downtime in a manufacturing or facility environment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and building systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform corrective maintenance as needed.
• Maintain documentation for repairs, inspections, and work orders.
• Carryout PM schedule as generated by maintenance manager and escalate concerns immediately.
• Inspect and maintain HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems as applicable.
• Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvement projects.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with production, management, and vendors when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and maintenance shop.
• Participate in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions: This position requires accessing all areas in the plant
Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand or sit, and move about the facility.
Education and Formal Training:
• High School Diploma / GED Required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Certifications (Tow motor driving card, CDL, Electrical certs, etc.)…desired.
Experience:
• Journeyman card or relevant industry certifications preferred, where applicable
• 2+ years’ experience in the field
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to read schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Basic understanding of PLCs, motors, drives, and industrial controls
• Physical ability to lift 50lbs, stand, climb, kneel, and work in confined spaces or heights
Materials and Equipment Used:
• Office Equipment, Database & Query Software, ERP Software, Procurement Software - SAP system.
• Forklifts / Pallet Jack / Reach Truck Experience Desired.
