The Technical Engineering Specialist is a hands-on technical expert responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing engineering systems, processes, and technologies within the organization. This role combines deep technical knowledge with practical problem-solving skills to ensure optimal system performance, project execution, and innovation implementation.

• Monitor, evaluate, and optimize car wash equipment and control systems to improve performance, reduce downtime, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Provide expert technical support for installations, troubleshooting, and repairs across multiple sites or client accounts.
• Collaborate on the design, upgrade, and integration of mechanical and automation systems, including water recycling, chemical delivery, and tunnel control systems.
• Work closely with OEMs and third-party vendors to evaluate new technologies, test prototypes, and manage deployment of new equipment.
• Lead and manage technical projects related to site upgrades, new installations, or retrofits, ensuring deadlines and performance goals are met.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, including schematics, SOPs, and maintenance logs. Ensure all systems meet relevant safety and environmental regulations.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, and field service teams to align engineering efforts with business goals.
• Support training efforts for technicians and site managers on new systems, standard maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.

Experience & Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in technical engineering, field service, or systems integration, ideally in the car wash or related industrial automation field.
• Experience with car wash tunnel equipment.
• Experience with sustainability systems (water reclamation, energy efficiency).

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

• May require extended hours or flexible scheduling to meet business demands.
• Regularly required to stand or sit and move about the facility. Ability to stand for 8 hours per day.
