The Chemical Solutions Technician’s primary role is to support Diamond Shine’s combined customers by providing for their chemical needs. The technician will work with chemical team to properly install Diamond Shine products, correct cleaning/application issues and provide a reporting safety net for Key and National Accounts.

New Business Development:

· Coordinate and help install Diamond Shine products for Key and National Accounts.

· Accurately document setups, with cost per car and service reports.

· Use Diamond Shine’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to communicate activity with the team.

· Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.

· Work with team to address client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.

· Handle objections in a positive manner by clarifying issues, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to net positive conclusions for all.

Customer Retention:

· Work with clients to solve their cleaning and application issues.

· Provide next steps and action items for issues that can not be remedied in the field or are outside of the scope of work.

· Conduct standard service calls on Key and National Accounts to ensure Diamond Shine’s standards and commitments are met.

· Correctly report on customer retention activities by utilizing Diamond Shine’s support tools and CRM program.

· Work with technical, marketing, and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.

· Participate in internal and external client debriefs.

Management and Research:

· Submit accurate weekly planning and bimonthly expense reports.

· Control expense and stay within the planned yearly budget.

· Test and accurately report on all new products.

· Provide technical training to our distributors and their staff.

· Develop a thorough understanding of the company and distributors’ capabilities.

· Understand and support the goals, purpose, and direction of Diamond Shine to enhance market performance.

· Present a positive image that mirrors the core values of Diamond Shine.

Other:

· Operate in a safe manner in accordance with published safety guidelines. Must wear appropriate PPE as per company guidelines and accordance with job duties.

· Report all work related accidents or injuries within 24 hours to the appropriate personnel.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

· Other duties as assigned: Route Coverage for CAS PTO or open Positions, Special Project support.

Technical Qualifications -

o Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.

o Ability to read diagrams and blueprints.

o Ability to accurately enter data into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

o Basic Mathematical & Analytical Skills - performing operations in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and diving.

o Must be proficient in Excel.

o Will require proper coordination, and motor skills to work with power/hand tools as needed.

o Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License.

Working Conditions: Majority will be an inside office environment.

Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand or sit and move about the facility.

Experience & Education:

· High School Diploma/GED preferred.

· Three (3) years minimum of carwash service experience.

· Preferred experience in working with a national distribution and direct sales network

· Travel required.

· Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License.

Candidates will be required to complete a background check and drug screen before beginning work.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is USD $58,630/yr. - $79,310/yr. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
