The Technical Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that business requirements are clearly communicated and effectively implemented in our technology systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring that technical solutions align with business goals and requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis for proposed solutions.
• Act as the first level liaison between business units and development teams.
• Facilitate clear and effective communication between stakeholders and technical teams.
• Assist in the design and development of technical solutions to meet business needs.
• Review and validate technical designs and specifications.
• Participate in project planning, execution, and monitoring, managing project timelines, resources and risks.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and user manuals.
• Support the development and execution of test plans to ensure that technical solutions meet business requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues through to resolution.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate feedback with development teams.
• Provide ongoing support for implemented solutions, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Develop training materials as needed and conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Preferred Certifications: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
• 3-5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, or similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and database management.
• Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) and software tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
