Overview

We are looking for an experienced Direct Sales professional who is willing to go the extra mile and provide exceptional customer experience, while educating the customer about our product line. We are the largest firm in our industry and build the best of the best equipment - our average sale is ‘6’ figures! You will be responsible for managing existing accounts, calling on leads given, as well as prospecting and acquiring new clients. 

Responsibilities

  • Prospects existing clients over the phone and perform consultations to achieve their monthly new opportunity objectives. 
  • Prepare quotes and accompanying order documents for customer review. 
  • Drives upsell revenue opportunities by identifying opportunities for each client and then matches those opportunities with the best level of service required to meet each client’s needs. 
  • Qualifies inbound leads driven and performs live consultations to qualified decision makers. 
  • Maintains and manages a portfolio of clients and develops strong relationships with each client. 
  • Address client concerns and ensure the resolution of issues in a timely manner, with hand-off to appropriate internal staff and/or follow-up when appropriate. 
  • Proactively identifies ‘at risk’ customers and escalates these customers to the appropriate department to ensure they are retained as customers. 
  • Field all account and product related direct calls from clients 
  • Required to meet weekly, monthly, and annual productivity and sales metrics. 
  • Attends weekly meetings and provides updates, suggestions and/or optimizations to improve client performance and increase incremental revenues for the company. 
  • Learn our CRM system and make sure accounts are being updated in a timely and efficient manner. Bonus points if you have familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics (CRM). 
  • Willing to learn our process and various software allowing us to deliver a satisfied customer experience. Most of our software is in the Microsoft family. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service to maximum customer satisfaction 
  • Keep abreast of all new products and updates through continuous learning 
  • Track order delivery dates ensuring all paperwork is complete, payment is in, and order is on time. Communicating all to the customer. 
  • Maintain files and update related information on a regular basis 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Experience & Abilities: 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Energy, hustle, and appetite for growth and responsibility.
  • Detail oriented and self-motivated.
  • BS or BA preferred, but willing to consider strong backgrounds in lieu of degree
  • Ability to multitask and stay highly organized while doing so.
  • 2+ years of inside sales or account management experience
  • Comfortable on a computer. Ideal experience with Microsoft computer suite including Dynamics and Business Central.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Great interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to work with others
  • Ability to self-manage time and set priorities while handling multiple responsibilities
  • Strong business ethics with a professional approach
  • Ability to work independently and to adapt in a continuously changing environment

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:  

  • Travel required as needed. 
  • Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing & service environment.  
  • May require the use of safety PPE to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, steel-toe shoes, hardhats, and any requirements set by SDS 
  • Regularly required to stand or sit and move about the facility.  
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours per day. 
  • Ability to move equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds. 

 

Materials and Equipment Used:   

  • Office Equipment, Microsoft Office, and CRM/SAP System. 

Candidates will be required to complete a background check and drug screen before beginning work.
