Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Director who will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans that drive revenue growth and enhance customer satisfaction in their assigned region. This person will also be responsible for expanding wallet share with existing clients and the acquisition of new customers. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of market dynamics. 

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: 

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company objectives. 
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth and new opportunities. 

Team Leadership: 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals. 
  • Foster a high-performance culture through motivation and accountability. 

Sales Execution: 

  • Oversee the sales pipeline and manage key accounts. 
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment and maximize sales effectiveness. 
  • Partner and collaborate with the Strategic Accounts and National Sales teams on projects within their region and support any National RFP. 

Performance Metrics: 

  • Set and monitor performance targets and KPIs for the sales team. 
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and forecast future sales trends. 

Customer Relationship Management: 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. 
  • Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. 

Market Analysis: 

  • Conduct competitive analysis to understand market positioning and pricing strategies. 
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies. 

Budget Management: 

  • Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring cost-effective operations. 
  • Evaluate ROI on sales initiatives and adjust strategies as needed. 

Qualifications

Experience & Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or related field. 
  • 5-8 years’ of proven experience in sales leadership. 
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies. 
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite 

 

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:  

  • Dynamic and fast-paced work environment. 
  • Occasional evening and weekend may be required. 
  • Ability to travel for clients meetings and industry events as needed. 
  • Ability to sit and stand and move about a facility.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is USD $159,390 yr. - $215,490 yr. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
