Overview

The Warehouse Associate for Marketing is responsible for fulfilling pick requests and coordinating the accurate release, transfer, packing, preparation, shipment, and return of Tradeshow packages and Marketing equipment. This position will work in a team setting to meet company and individual goals.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate orders and issue equipment as needed.
  • Be directly involved in the day-to-day operations of the Tradeshow Warehouse.
  • Provides generalized support for all internal operations’ inquiries, comments, and questions.
  • Assisting in the dismantle of tradeshows, which includes but is not limited to, picking up all company equipment, loading out equipment and freight properly.
  • Verifying shipments are sent with the proper labeling.
  • Record data on shipment of packages both inbound and outbound.
  • Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
  • Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
  • Conduct inventory and maintain appearance of workspace.
  • Utilize computer system to identify tasks, enter completed tasks and find goods.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Coordinates inter-company transfer of product among warehouses.
  • Sit-down fork truck proficiency is required.
  • Follow warehouse safety guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

  • Working Conditions: Majority of assigned tasks will be performed in a warehouse environment, some office duties, as required. Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled environment for a majority of the day, where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature.
  • Physical Demands:    Required to stand or sit for extended periods of time, bend, lift packages, push equipment and move about the facility. May require heavy lifting (up to and occasionally more than 30 pounds unassisted) and ability to carry up to 50 pounds for 100 feet unassisted. Machinery operation requires the use of safety PPE to include but not limited to safety eyeglasses, hearing protectors, steel-toe shoes, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.

 

Education and Formal Training: 

  • High school diploma/GED required.

 

Experience:

  • Forklift experience/certified required.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in Warehouse Operations.
  • Experience loading/unloading trucks preferred.
  • Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Windows, Word and Excel.
  • Must be organized, detail oriented and team driven.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to constant change.

  • Office Equipment and CRM/SAP System
  • Power tools as needed.
