The Project Manager – Sales & Distribution reports to the Project Management Office (PMO) as part of the larger Transformation Management Office team. The responsibilities of the Project Manager include managing the assigned project portfolio of projects, ensuring the delivery of expected project outcomes – with adherence to created project budget, requirements, and schedule, preparing status reports, ensuring effective and well executed project and communication plans.
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations leaders to support the definition, prioritization, and development of projects.
• Accurately document the project’s creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project’s scope, budget, and justification.
• Overseeing project development and ensuring that all team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding PMO and company standards.
• Coordinating with cross-discipline functions and team members to ensure all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
• Meeting with project team members and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.
• Submitting project plans and associated deliverables – ensuring they adhere to quality standards.
• Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
• Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
• Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
• Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.
• Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients.
• Obtaining stakeholder acceptance of project deliverables.
• Managing stakeholder satisfaction with the project transition period.
• Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
• Create and present detailed presentations as required by the management team.
• Other duties as assigned.
Education and Formal Training:
• Bachelor’s degree in business with focuses in Sales, Marketing, or Equivalent Experience Required
Experience:
• 2+ Years of Sales or Marketing Leadership Experience
• 5+ Years of Sales and Marketing Experience
• Prior project management experience highly preferred.
• PMP Certification preferred, not required.
• Salesforce experience preferred, not required.
• Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion delivering expected outcomes.
• Experienced managing budgets, timelines, details, and deliverables.
• Experience in ERP implementation or ERP subject matter expertise preferred. SAP S4 and ECC.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of Products
