Responsible for performing Quality tasks to ensure compliance and execution of the Safety and Quality Assurance Program for Sonny’s Backroom. This hands-on role provides support in the development, execution, and maintenance of the company’s quality management system (QMS) by performing a wide range of activities including set-up of parts for receiving inspection, reviewing inspection/test data, investigating nonconforming products, and continuously improving the QMS. The position provides focused quality support of manufacturing and business processes to ensure the delivery of product that meet our customers’ expectations.This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to expand their skillset, has worked in a regulated industry, is an excellent communicator and has a strong attention to detail. 

• Improving quality control work instructions/procedures 
• Serves as Document Control Administrator to maintain and communicate revisions to controlled documents 
• Sets-up new part numbers for inspection in receiving inspection database 
• Monitoring and reviewing quality assurance test data and trends and escalating to QEs as needed 
• Train and coach current and future production team members and other relevant personnel to perform and record results for analytical processes 
• Conduct audits to ensure that production team members are conducting production tests as identified in control plans 
• Serves as a back-up to RI/RMA coordinator role 
• Maintains training program records 
• Execute Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (R&R) studies in coordination with metrologist as needed 
• Creates Temporary Deviation (TD) requests and maintains TD related documentation 
• Assists Quality Team in maintaining our plant-wide ISO9001:2105 compliant QMS. 
• Helps conduct investigative and thorough inquires to see root cause and help teams determine corrective action using 8D, 5-Whys, Fishbone Diagrams or other quality tools. 
• Other duties as assigned 

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent 
• 2 years of documented work experience or equivalent educational experience required.
