The Sr. Staff Accountant performs various technical accounting functions and analytical reviews of for a designated accounting area. This position also helps the business unit achieve goals, anticipate needs and resolve problems.


• Support Month end and year end closing
• Maintains financial records for company by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts
• Provides financial status information by preparing special reports; completing special projects
• Corrects errors by posting adjusting journal entries
• Maintains general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable detail and control accounts
• Maintains accounting ledgers by posting monthly account transactions. GL Account Analysis vs. Aging
• Secures financial information by completing database backups; keeping information confidential
• Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with federal, state, and local
financial legal requirements
• Provides guidance and assistance to Accounting Clerks and entry level Accountants
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications
• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed
• Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements
• Document workflow and work procedures
• Responsible for the One Wash Program Sales, Rebate Accruals, and audits.
• Other duties as assigned


• Bachelor's Degree required, with a concentration in Business, Accounting or Finance; CPA / CMA a plus.
• 5+ yrs. of accounting experience.
• Experience with an ERP manufacturing system required
• Advanced skills in MS Excel Required.
• Manufacturing experience a plus!
