Overview

The Graphic Designer will work as a creative team member to produce visual design, content layouts, and maintain brand consistency throughout for clients. Must possess a high level of creativity, a strong understanding or background in visual communication, environmental design and will work proactively to stay knowledgeable of current implementation technologies and best practice solutions for any initiatives. Accountable to produce accurate, timely work while performing a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities

· Produce practical and creative design solutions that address complex business and marketing needs.

· Design for a wide range of promotional initiatives including catalog, magazine ads, signage, web site page layouts, images, and web assets.

· Create images, compositions, banners, headers, characters, logos, and backgrounds with advanced skills using Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign, and Photoshop.

· Possess knowledge of current design, marketing, and social media trends.

· Conduct photo shoots and prepare photos for use in print and online.

· Prepare accurate files for press with knowledge of photography and color arrangement.

· Collaborate with other team members to ensure a consistent look and feel to the design system.

· Innovate new solutions, and present multiple design ideas.

· Adhere to company filing and project management procedures for fast retrieval of information.

· Contribute to the company/team culture of communication, collaboration and creativity.

· Strong communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate ideas, and advocate best practice solutions.

· Be pro-active and organized, act effectively under deadlines, and manage multiple concurrent projects.

· Ability to take directions to meet creative and business needs.

· Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline.

· Demonstrated proficiency in leading design tools including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

· 2-4 years' experience in graphic design and print production.

· Must have a portfolio.
